Industry photography is a very specific niche. It requires an understanding not only of what looks good, but of what translates well on camera, across platforms, and ultimately into results. Small styling decisions can have a significant impact on how images are received and how effectively they perform.
This is why I’ve introduced my new concept development and style guide service.
This service is designed to give your shoot a clear visual direction before you ever step in front of the camera. Together, we establish the overall style of the shoot, ensuring each look feels intentional and aligned rather than disconnected or improvised.
You’ll receive curated mood boards that reflect the tone, styling, and energy of each look, helping you visualise how everything comes together on camera. These boards are created to guide your choices and make shopping and preparation easier, without prescribing exact outfits or limiting your personal style.
The service also includes guidance on props to match each look. Thoughtful props can elevate an image when used well, adding depth and context without distraction. Knowing what works, and what doesn’t, can make a noticeable difference in the final result.
In this industry, images often serve multiple purposes at once. They need to feel considered, cohesive, and visually strong while remaining authentic to you. This service exists to remove guesswork and help your shoot feel intentional from the very beginning.
Concept development and style guides can be booked with a photoshoot, either the Full Day Package or the Superstar Suite. They’re especially useful if you’re refreshing your imagery, refining your direction, or wanting a more strategic approach to how your photos perform.
